Bud is completely free and self-funded, so we skipped paying Microsoft's annual code-signing certificate fee. When launching the application for the first time, Windows will show a SmartScreen warning.
To start Bud, click "More info" on the pop-up, followed by the "Run anyway" button that appears.

Download and Open the Installer
Once the download completes, locate and double-click the
Bud-Setup.exefile to launch the installation. - 2
Bypass the SmartScreen Dialog
When the "Windows protected your PC" screen appears, click the small "More info" text link, and then click the "Run anyway" button at the bottom.

Allow Audio Permissions
Bud needs access to your microphone to hear your voice commands. Make sure to allow microphone access on startup.
System Requirements
Windows 10 or newer (64-bit). Requires a working microphone and an active Excalidraw browser tab.
